Eclectic, engaging and energetic, Houston's Mutt Gallery is home to a diverse group of artists whose styles range from colorful abstracts to figurative paintings and free-form sculpture. Owner/director Candice Taylor hails from Dallas, Texas, where the original Mutt Gallery enjoyed its heyday.

Ms. Taylor, a former model who also did a stint as a PR agent for entertainment clientele, knew she needed to pursue her first love - art. Years of serving as an artists' representative led her to finally open the Mutt Gallery in Dallas' historic Deep Ellum neighborhood. Armed with a passion for the art business, a winning arsenal of artists and a carefully edited Rolodex, Ms. Taylor blazed the way for many forthcoming galleries in the area. That, combined with her knack for choosing art that personally suits each of her clients, made Mutt a success story.

Mutt Gallery artists include colorful visionary Frankie Garcia III, modern abstract painter Solange Mariel, surreal photographer Dylan Hollingsworth, ethereal glass sculptor Luis Toledano and other internationally recognized museum-quality artists.
